Winter Golf League Starts Today

Round 1: Sutton Bay

Winter has arrived, and with it comes the much-anticipated Winter League at Golfing Around's state-of-the-art indoor golf simulator. As enthusiasts trade the crisp outdoor air for the sophisticated technology of Trackman golf, we commence the opening round at a virtual rendition of the prestigious Sutton Bay Golf Course.

Date: November 15 - December 1

If you’ve played in last year’s league, you can skip the handicap round and your first round will cover your entry fee into the league.

Nestled in the heart of South Dakota, Sutton Bay Golf Course has etched its name as one of America's elite private clubs, revered for its unparalleled golfing, hunting, and fishing experiences. Perched atop the majestic Missouri breaks, the course offers players panoramic views of the sprawling Lake Oahe, a sight now captured meticulously in our indoor simulator.

Renowned course designer Graham Marsh's masterpiece, an inland links course evoking the soul of Scottish and Irish terrains, challenges and charms in equal measure. It's a test of skill and strategy, where the rolling virtual fairways and simulated gusts of wind call for precision and patience.

As we embark on this simulated journey through Sutton Bay, let's marvel at how technology bridges seasons and geographies, bringing the glory of summer links to our winter hideaway. The leaderboard awaits its heroes, and the fairways yearn for the tales of triumphs and trials.

Join us as we document the highs and lows, the near-misses, and the moments of brilliance that this Winter League promises. Keep your eyes on the blog or subscribe to the newsletter for updates, tips, and tales from the virtual greens.
